Journey Overview

Then arriving in beautiful Darwin for the evening and then fly to Alice Springs the next day to prepare for your journey to Uluru. The luxury tents you will be accommodated in are so unique – you literally wake up in the morning to a view of the Rock from your bed.

Trip Itinerary Details
DAY ONE
Fly to Adelaide in the morning and transfer to the train station to board your spectacular train journey, The Ghan, for a 12:15pm departure. Your journey is all inclusive – 3 days/2 nights of all touring included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included and fine wine and beverages. Get ready to indulge!
DAY TWO
Begin with a freshly brewed coffee or juice and watch the desert come to life at sunrise. All aboard for brunch as you make your way through the MacDonnell Ranges to Alice Springs where a choice of off train excursions awaits.
Alice Springs is an iconic Red Centre outpost, 1,500 kilometres from the nearest major city, it may be remote, but offers plenty to explore – home to doctors who fly, rivers that run dry and a cast of colourful characters. Your time in the ‘capital out of the outback’ offers numerous opportunities to explore its historic legacy and unique environment.
DAY THREE
Your day dawns in the tropical north. The pristine wilderness of Katherine is stirring and powerful, and you’ll have the chance to explore it from the water or land with your choice of off train experiences.
Cruise the jaw-dropping Nitmiluk Gorge, learn more about its ancient Indigenous rock paintings and gain insight into the culture of the traditional owners of Nitmiluk, the Jawoyn people, or discover authentic outback life on a cattle station. As evening falls, arrive in Darwin to complete your epic Australian journey. Transfer to the Mindil Casino hotel for your lodging for tonight.
DAY FOUR
Enjoy breakfast this morning with your morning at leisure. Depart for the airport for you 3:30pm departure to Alice Springs. Arrive at Alice Springs and transfer to your lodging for this evening, the Crowne Plaza Lasseters.
DAY FIVE
Depart at 7am for your transfer to Uluru, arriving at 1:30pm. Transfer to your luxury lodging for the next 3 nights, Longitude 131. And get ready to be spoilt! Your all inclusive lodging includes premium wine, spirits and all meals AND your touring is also included! Relax this evening and get ready for your big day of touring tomorrow.
DAY SIX
Your concierge will take you through your touring options today. There is so much to explore in this spiritual place, so take your time and take it all in. Retreat back to the lodge for dinner this evening - there is a special dinner planned for you (and we’ll keep it as a surprise!).
DAY SEVEN
Another day of touring is planned for today, with your concierge explaining your options. Enjoy lunch and dinner once again back at the lodge, and perhaps catch an early night ready for your departure tomorrow.
DAY EIGHT
Enjoy breakfast this morning and depart for your flight home.
