Journey Overview
While it’s a little further to get to than our East Coast friends, the 4 hour journey to the West Coast is well worth it.
Perth is increasing it’s infrastructure quite dramatically, and with that comes a lot of new hotel openings, restaurant openings and a lot more bars to choose from. Como, the Treasury is a very traditional hotel and has won many luxury travel awards. So how could we not send you here!
Then head over to Rottnest Island for the night and get a selfie with a Quokka. Continue from there to the magnificent Sal Salis at Ningaloo Reef. Glamping doesn’t get better than this!
This itinerary has a great combination of everything you need to see, but if you do have some spare time we suggest adding on an extension to the wonderful winery region of Margaret River.
Trip Itinerary Details
DAY ONE
Arrive into Perth airport and transfer to your home for the next 3 nights, Como The Treasury. This afternoon is yours to relax and settle in.
Dinner suggestion: Wildflower.
DAY TWO
An early start this morning as you head off on your Pinnacles Desert, koalas and sandboarding 4WD tour. Discover the wondrous wildlife and mystical natural attractions of Western Australia on this full-day tour from Perth. Discover kangaroos and koalas at Caversham Wildlife Park, and learn about the local lobster industry with a tour of a lobster plant and fresh seafood lunch in Cervantes. Take a guided walk through the eerie, lunar-like landscape of Pinnacles Desert, and get your heart racing as you speed through the massive dunes of Lancelin on a sandboarding and 4WD adventure.

DAY THREE
Today you will get an Uber (at own expense) to the ferry terminal for your departure to Rottnest Island. Arrive at Rottnest and be collected and taken to Discovery Park, your home for the night. Check in to your deluxe tent on the sand and head off and explore this incredible part of Australia.
DAY FOUR
Depart at lunch by ferry to return to Perth. This afternoon enjoy your spa treatment package this afternoon – a 60 minute massage each and a 30 minute express facial.
Dinner suggestion: Heritage Wine Bar.
DAY FIVE
Depart early this morning and catch your flight at 7am to Learmouth to transfer to Ningaloo Reef. Your concierge will discuss with you your itinerary for the next 3 nights, as all of your meals and touring are included in this experience. Perhaps squeeze in a snorkel this afternoon and join the others in your camp for a delicious dinner.
DAY SIX
Enjoy your breakfast this morning and head out for your whale shark swim. This is the highlight of your stay here – these mammals are absolutely amazing creatures and it will be hard to get you out of the water! Enjoy your dinner back at camp and get ready for another action packed day tomorrow.
DAY SEVEN
Tomorrow is yours to choose what you would like to do with your concierge. You may choose to go kayaking, and we definitely recommend the ‘dark sky’ experience. Enjoy dinner at the camp this evening and get ready for your departure in the morning.
DAY EIGHT
Enjoy breakfast this morning and head for home.
