Journey Overview
Noosa is located approx. 30 minutes from Maroochydoore airport, and the property we have chosen for you to stay at On The Beach Noosa, is exactly that – located beachfront on Hastings Street.
It has spectacular views of main beach and has two of our favourite restaurants downstairs, Bistro C and Boardwalk – the location doesn’t get better than that!
Orpheus Island is located near the Great Barrier Reef and is one of Australia’s most beautiful private Islands. It has 24 white powdery beaches, over 1000 hectares of National Park, and only 40 suites. Sensational diving opportunities abound, and also some of the best big game fishing in the world. Take a picnic basket to a private beach, or enjoy the superb food and wine in the open pavilion at the main lodge. The choice is yours!
But be warned: the combination of these two incredible properties are guaranteed to make you want to relive this holiday again and again!
Trip Itinerary Details
DAY ONE
One way airfare flying Qantas Airways Melbourne – Maroochydoore, economy class arrive Maroochydoore, transfer by private car to On The Beach Noosa for your 3 nights accommodation in a spa penthouse, breakfast included.
This evening is at leisure – dinner suggestion: Locale Noosa.
DAY TWO
Start the morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for your Montville and Maleny Tour – experiencing the stunning Noosa hinterland. Discover the picturesque villages and natural wonders trekking through the rainforest, admiring views of the Glasshouse Mountains and enjoying some free time to explore Montville.
Lunch is included, and return by 5pm to get ready for whichever fabulous place you choose to dine tonight!
Dinner suggestion: Bang Bang Noosa.
DAY THREE
Enjoy breakfast and Uber (at your own expense) to Eumundi market. There are plenty of things to see and do here, but we suggest you come with as empty a stomach as possible – the food is delicious! This afternoon make your way to Gympie Terrace for your 3 hour dinghy hire – just try not to get bogged on the river, there are some shallow spots!!
Dinner suggestion: Ricky’s Noosa.
DAY FOUR
Enjoy breakfast and transfer by private transfer to Brisbane for your flight to Townsville, followed by a seaplane transfer to Orpheus Island.
DAY FIVE
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and get ready for todays dinghy adventure. You will be given a safety briefing, and you can choose which private beach you wish to anchor at for the day. You will be armed with a picnic basket and champagne (and a walkie-talkie, in case you need to reach out to your island hosts) and enjoy your private experience.
Dinner is included this evening.
DAY SIX
Day at leisure – perhaps do nothing, or planned one of the activities listed on your daily schedule – the day is yours to choose!
DAY SEVEN
Have breakfast this morning by 10am and then head to your snorkelling tour, exploring the beautiful reef. Return today for your 3pm couples massage (1 hour duration) and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy.
